Dear PHPers,

I ahve a little email question. I have a script on the site where people can add links. If their link gets added and validated, they get a mail telling them so. Now I want to adjust the From: on th e mail. Now it syas my name, probably from when I bought the host package. How can I change this From: attribute into sth I want ?

Many thanks,
M

Add header-informations:
Code: Select all
$header="From:Thats Me <mail@domainyouwant.com>";
mail("you@yourdomain.com","Email to you","Message-Text",$header);

Oeps, thanks for the fast answer :wink:
It looks though that I should read that manual better, didn't know it was so obvious.
Many thanks,
M
