'PHP Advanced and Object-Oriented Programming" by Larry Ullman (I have the third edition, but I would get the latest edition out there).

While I don't agree with everything that is in the book, the majority I do. Specially the OOP section, which makes it very clear. This book assumes you have the basic knowledge of PHP, but I would guess you might be able to muddle through it if you don't? Larry Ullman does have other PHP books out there that might be better in starting out with PHP, but the book I mention will cover PDO pretty thoroughly when setting up a small CMS.

I had a Head-First book in HTML5 and I wasn't to impressed with it, they seem to go over the material to quickly and it doesn't seek in. Well that's my opinion.

I did not understand something. You are saying that " Larry Ullman" is an awesome author ?

I am interested about making my dynamic Php website. So, i would like to read something powerful.

Thanks for your response! Could u help me more?
That's the one, it will help you make dynamic pages with no problem and to show that things don't have to always been done in OOP that sometime the procedural ways is better.
