<td> col and rowspan in HEREDOC

Postby Mikethk » Thu Dec 05, 2013 10:11 am

Code: Select all

<td><input type="text" name="_c18" placeholder="Note" value="$record->c18" class="s_ansat_kiosk_g"/> </td>
<td><input type="text" name="_c19" placeholder="Note" value="$record->c19" class="s_ansat_kiosk_g"/> </td>

I neda make it, so I can write text on 2 lines..... I tried <td colspan=2> but didn't work....

What is required to archive this? Do I neda define my table's full size somewhere, before I can span it?

Best regards Mikethk

If you want a <td> to span over two rows then you must use

Code: Select all

<td rowspan="2"></td>

However I think what you are really looking for is to change the

Code: Select all

<input type="text" name="_c18" placeholder="Note" value="$record->c18" class="s_ansat_kiosk_g"/>
to

Code: Select all

<textarea name="_c18" placeholder="Note" class="s_ansat_kiosk_g">$record->c18</textarea>
