Form action

Postby spherecraft » Mon Jul 15, 2013 5:15 am

In html and php.

for example most of the tutorials when creating a form the format is like this

<form action="signup.php" name="test">

i want it like <form action="/signup" name="test"> or <form action="signup" name="test">

as you can see the extension is removed and has a trailing slash before the word "signup"

How can i do it? Thanks! :)

Code: Select all
<form  action="signInForm.php" method="post" >

First of all most tutorials are done that way (I would suggest you brush up on them some more) and second to get what you want you will have to do configuration to the .htaccess file.
