Form submission

I want to ask you if I submit a form, what's the maximum no of characters that I can send to the action script by method POST or GET.Is there a max. no. of characters? :

IE I believe is unlimited, Netscape has a limit but it's something rediculous like 4000 characters that there's a slim chance you'll breach it!
