Visual development for phP

Postby ubique » Mon Nov 19, 2012 7:29 am

hi,
am new to php web development. Can anybody recommend a visual development environment for php
projects ? What I am after is something like MS Visual Studio for PHP? I thought Zend Studio may have
visual components that allow you to visually design web pages and add code behing but I am told this is
not the case. Are there any visual tools around that will allow me to do rapid php development?

Sorry if this is a very basic question but I am a learner.
Many thanks.

I believe Zend does have a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) html editor, which is what it sounds like you're looking for. Keep in mind though, different browsers are going to see your page differently. Even using a reset.css to try to promote uniformity you're going to run into situations where you cannot completely replicate a look across all browsers.
