consider you have element
Code: Select all
<input type=text name="val1">

you can get the value from the new page that is loaded on the submit button this way

Code: Select all
$_POST['val1']
use normal control structures with it
the $_POST will work if the form method is post

Is there a way to somehow have POST parameters sent to an URL within a PHP script? ie. without an actual <form method="post"> on a webpage that is submitted by a visitor.

You could try looking into socket connections.
