dumb question

I have a very long line of code to write... how do I seperate it in sections so I can write it on many lines ?? i know its a sumb question but I just dont know ;) <

that'll depend upon the line of code - you can linebreak in php within functions and within output strings though concatenating easily enough - eg

echo 'blat'
.' more blat'
.' more blat'

functname(
arg1,
arg2,
arg3);
