Flash & PHP mailer

Postby adr3naline » Tue Dec 16, 2008 11:15 am

Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum here, but excited to be a member! I have a flash contact form which is not working out for me. I receives the sender, email, and message variables, then submits it to my php script to mail. I'm wanting to attach my script so you can dig through it for errors (I don't see any).

Any help will be greatly appreciated! (By the way, I have changed the myemail@domain.com to my actual email, so that shouldn't be the issue).

Code: Select all

// read the variables form the string, (this is not needed with some servers).
$subject = $_REQUEST['subject'];
$message = $_REQUEST['message'];
$sender = $_REQUEST['sender'];

// include sender IP in the message.
$full_message = $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'] . "\n\n" . $message;
$message= $full_message;

// remove the backslashes that normally appears when entering " or '
$message = stripslashes($message);
$subject = stripslashes($subject);
$sender = stripslashes($sender);

// add a prefix in the subject line so that you know the email was sent by online form
$subject = "photo ". $subject;

// send the email, make sure you replace my email@domain.com with your email address
if(isset($message) and isset($subject) and isset($sender)){
   mail("email@domain.com", $subject, $message, "From: $sender");
