Text encoding in e-mails

Postby zodiak_bg » Mon Sep 27, 2004 11:47 am

Should I define text encoding while sending mail with the mail() function and if so how.

I need to send mails in 3 different languages english, german & bulgarian
and I get XXXXXXXX for cyrillic text.

Is it because I didn't specify encoding or it is supposed to be specified by the program that one use to browse e-mails.

It would be embarasing if one receive e-mail with only XXXXXXXX-es

Thanks in advance
