Hi friends,

Is there any way to count the no. of bounce backs while sending a mail to a list of email addresses through a php script?

Also can you suggest a method to execute a php script when the mail is opened by the receipient.

expecting your valuable help asap

Lalichan.

yer trying to hit on a sensitive subject. There may be legit reasons you may want something. But because spammers use these methods to spam I'll just say. "No Comment"

I don't know what good it would do a spammer to know the number of bounced e-mails.

Anyway, lalichan, what you're going to have to do is use PHP's POP3/IMAP functions or one of the many PHP POP3 libraries to check the mailbox to which the messages are bounced back to. You'll have to do some text processing to figure out which ones are bounces. That you'll have to figure out on your own.
