the mail() function

I have got sendmail up and running ....but ......
I can receive mail at my server, but I cannot send mail from server.????
Can anybody point my in the correct direction or offer any assistance? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

check your php.ini
string - :

if you may send message to the server and youre server cannot send message to user to you need see what youre mailer-deamon write.....
by the way if you newbe in that recommend before read manual from UNIX about sendmail :!:
