The script I did not make myself, it's a frankenstein, I chopped up a tutiorial to suit my needs. In the process I thought I'd got the hang of it, and yes the important booking form works perfectly! Then I thought I could make a simplified contact form, but no. it doesnt work. I've looked at it over and over and I just don't know why. Maybe someone can help, it's probablly a "," instead of a "." or something but I cant see it.
