70,000 Emails a Day And Problems.

Postby aleewaqas » Fri Sep 02, 2011 1:09 pm

Hi,

Geeks! Got a problem, i have to send on daily bases about 70,000 Emails. I have been trying since last two days, but wasn't very successful, so i could send only 4000 email, after that i come across different sort of issue, Some times browsers crashes, n some time "SMTP Error: Data not accepted" Error.

Here are some details.
I am using phpMailer to send mails over SMTP.
My script send about 500 Emails, in one attempt and the page get reloaded and it send next 500 emails.

I want your help to know the following things.

What is the best way to send 70,000 emails a day?
How to handle the browser part?
Why browser becomes slower over the time.
What are the effects of this actions over my server?
Does it make server work slow?
What are the disk requirement on the server if my email size that i am sending is about 400KBs Each.

Tx.
