Postby djso1987 » Thu Aug 18, 2011 3:16 am

I am using windows server.

Mail function or class is not active in php.ini the root folder because it is in a shared server.
how can i include mail class(mail.php) and (class.phpmailer.php) in a different location and write a test mail to send emails.

can some one help me with steps and code snippet.

Ok, is the path your referring to in you web sites root path. I mean that the 2 files you wanted to run are they in the web servers root folder or a sub folder. If that's the case. Then you shouldn't have any problems. How ever???

if for some reason your tring to run PHP scripts that are not in or on the web server. Then you will have to config your web server to allow PHP access to that folder.

Hint. If your web server is running on another drive like F:\webroot and lets say you have the mail.php script in C:\mail. So you would have to config your web server to allow access to that folder.

Make sure you have the SMTP in the php.ini as localhost and you should be fine..
