How should I configure php.ini to work with gmail.

Lets say that my user name is user and my password is password.

Where should I put this information in the configuration?

Can mail work with gmail?

Hi,

If you want to send an email, you can use mail() anyway, just place headers, with tracking info so that servers dont think you are SPAM

If you want to interact with the gmail server and read your mail, you have to activate POP on gmail panel and then connect from PHP using SSL
