Media folder and database. Trainer?

Postby Fawt.net » Fri Sep 02, 2005 1:06 am

Hello,
I m really new at php so I hope I m posting in the right thread.
I am making a site and I want to post pictures, movies etc...
I already heared you can make a media folder and make use of a database to make easy posts.
Is there a tutorial available somewhere? Cause I don t really know what terms to look for on google.
Server supports php and phpmyadmin.
I m sorry if I m rather vague as I m REALLY new to PHP and other.

Regards

its not so smart to be really new to php and make a site or do some a bit more advanced tasks before getting the basics.
http://www.php.net has almost everything needed..
otherwise google for "database manipulations in PHP" or simmilar
