uploading, resizing images on php and iis server

hello,

gud day, i need to upload an image and then resize it for thumbnail use, is this possible using windows iis server? i am using mysql database. any tutorial or links regarding this will be of great help.

For resizing images, Imagick is a better choice. Like GD, it needs to be enabled as an extension. See here.

how do i enable gd or imagick on php? i've read the documentation but it seems you need to compile gd first on msvc, is this microsoft visual c? i dont have any visual c installed on my computer, is there a compiled version already? how about imagick? tnx a lot :)
