I used to use the following url syntax to display a picture which is in a protected folder.
http://username:password@www.example.com/abc.jpg
But recently IE6 no longer support this syntax. Is there any other way I can display the picture without prompt user for username and password??
Thx a lot!!!

Nope, not without removing the password protect.
You could always encourage your users to switch to a
decent browser.
