New to PHP question about ?number after img src

Hi All,

I'm pretty new to PHP and have recently setup a PHP ecommerce site for my wifes business, i'm busy custmising it at present and ame just looking at uploading a new logo for her, the php in teh site has the src="/img/logo.jpg?1384852193", now i get teh src component but what is the ?1384852193 referencing?

The numbers look like a timestamp which is used to affect how an image is cached.
There are many settings than can affect how a file is cached, depending on servers, proxies, browsers and devices.
If you want to change the image go ahead and don't worry too much about the timestamp, personally I've never used them.
