Need help posting submitted images

I current have an upload and submit button on my homepage. What I am looking to be able to do is, I want users to be able to browse for a image on their computers, then upload it onto my site. What type of code do I need in my submit button to make the uploaded image automatically post to the homepage?! Any help is greatly appreciated!
