fatal error trying to use phpmyadmin

Postby desperox » Mon Feb 23, 2004 12:16 pm

I've just installed PHP 5 and mysql
the apache is working properly

there is no problem getting access to the db with an administrator tool or by console!
but phpmyadmin doesn't work at all
after opening the index file an error-msg appears !!!

Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysql_get_client_info() in C:\www\phpMyAdmin-2.5.5-pl1\libraries\defines.lib.php on line 47

someone got an idea why ???

check whether your php is compiled with mysql
run this script and check for the mysql option present in the output.
Code: Select all

-if not then you need to compile php with mysql lib support.
-which OS you are using?
