Upgrading to 3.5.2 phpmyadmin

Hi folks

Recently, as novice, I installed wampserver v2.2 in winxp.sp3 that came with phpmyAdmin version 3.5.1 kept in the folder c:\wamp\apps\phpmyadmin3.5.1. Then i was told that v3.5.2 is availiable as a .zip file which i downloaded. To install it, I kept the config.inc.php in the existing folder & replaced all else with this zip. Then typing localhost/phpmyadmin at my Firefox default browser (after clearing cache), v3.5.2 appeared but a new welcome screen asking for username & password appeared.

Questions:
1 Is there another way to install eg tweat some .ini or config file.
2 Why the new welcome screen appear, it was not there in before the upgrade.
3 If i change the folder from phymadkin3.5.1 to phpmyadmin, then localhost/phpmyadmin will not work in Firefox, where can i tweat to resolve this?

Just found the solution

At C:\wamp\alias, open phpmyadmin.conf and find the following lines that look like this
Alias /phpmyadmin "c:/wamp/apps/phpMyAdmin-3.2.0.1/"
<Directory "c:/wamp/apps/phpMyAdmin-3.2.0.1/">

Change to the reference to old folder to the new, then copy the old config.inc.php ini to the new folder keeping the new phpMyAdmin
