Adding a MODERATOR???

I doubt this is where to ask. I've searched for the answer already, with no luck.

Here goes.....
How do I make a current member of my forum a Moderator? NOT admin, Just assign them a couple topics to moderate.

administration > User Admin > permission > Enter the user > assign the status

If you want assign a special rank to moderator under the username
go to :

administration > User Admin > rank > and create the rank
then go to
administration > User Admin > management > enter the user > Assign the rank at the end of page
