I am a website owner. I am not a developer. I have a website written in PHP by my developer.
It has a countdown. The countdown shows either 12 hours less than the actual remaining time (during day time) or 12 hrs more than the actual remaining time during evening.

So for example if the actual time remaining is 1 day 2 hrs 30 mins 10 sec , in the evening it would show
1 day 14 hrs 30 mins 10 sec remaining.

I set the start date and time and end date and time for the countdown from one of the pages in the website. The time can be set from the dropdown with time from 00:00:00 - 23:00:00 .

Please let me know what can be the possible solution.
The timezone is set to Europe/London time (my local time) in php.ini file. I also have database. Does the timing is database also need to change? Also any change in .htaccess file for timings required?

Thanks a lot for going through my question!
