I've been thinking about this lately: how can I determine a client in a clear-cut way? For instance, at home, I have a network set up with a router, DHCP. Now the outer address is xxx.xxx.x.xxx, and additionally, computers have their own addresses within the network, obviously. Now let's assume I want to ban a machine, but only one of those. If I ban the IP (xxx.xxx.x.xxx) itself, all the computers will be denied access. How can I specify this so the particular machine is blocked?
