Web page appears corrupted in windows 7 and ok in linux

I have a web site I downloaded with pure php code and js. in linux its all good, but in windows with XAMPP, the Web pages (only after login page which appears ok) appears corrupted and full of lines of code and layout is totally offset.

what can cause it and how to fix ?

you may have different versions of php running, different server variables set, etc.

thanks , solve the issue ! however, I had to go lower version of php/mysql, so how can I find what to fix in the code to meet future versions of php ?

Honestly, i think the funnest way to do it is to setup your wamp/lamp/xamp etc with the version you'd like to be at, and then troubleshoot errors until it works, then update server and site.

Or if you want to update yourself and your code, you can check php.net for changes since the version that the script was originally intended for.

Or if you only have short codes, you could look up each function call at php.net/function_name to see what's deprecated.
