records of 2 different databases linked by a serial number

i have a problem, its kinda complex
i have 2 databases, and i want to show the results of the 2 databases in the same page. both linked by a serial number. but, the first database shows the records without problems, but the second databse just repeat the first record over and over again, have you donde this before? 2 databeses linked by a serial number that shows the records based on that serial number?
