I am quite new to this whole PHP thing, well i say quite new, i've been at it for a few months, but just can't seem to get it. I've been trying to learn it all before i start and was wondering if this is the right thing to do. Would you suggest trying to learn it all it all in one go, if so any tips on how to get your head round it?

O'Reilly has some pretty good books to get you started.
Learn as you go. You can't learn an entire language and expect to be a master coder. :)
