Dont use flat files for this, try a database like MySQL or PostgreSQL and there are many tutorials that will show you how to do this try google

if you like you can post a link and I can see what I get. But if you are getting a "Page cannot be displayed" message that sounds to me like its the server, since if it was a PHP error you would see something like PHP error message. Also if you are getting a "Page cannot be displayed" error.... are ...

how about letting us know if it is a sql statement or not you are talking about, what you are trying to do and then maybe a little code. this will make things much easier for people reading this post.

Because PHP is processed on the server while JavaScript is processed client side.

no it loads index.php just fine... but when I go to a document in a directory... it says cannot find file.... on the machine itself it shows up just fine.... but not from the 2nd box. :(
