Best way of scraping pic galeries from any url

Would you have an idea what could be the best and the most universal way of scraping pic galleries from any url (all pic files from any url with these; maybe even omit other not needed pics like ad banners or some other things). I know that when people attempt to write such code it does not necessar...

Working with videos of a tube site

I want to create a script which will be importing videos from other sources, categorizing them (like title, description, category, tags) and displaying them on a site. As far as I understand this will be working with Linux cron... I know that there is encoding and there can be more aspects of this t...

How many / what type / what size of monitors for web dev?

Best dev environment for creating a tube site

I currently use Xampp, phpMyAdmin and phpStorm. The second one can be replaced for heidiSQL or even dataGrip from jetBrains[dot]com. 1) I imagine that I can get some kind of hosting and develop on there or move my code from the Xampp set up to there. The thinking would be to import larger amounts of...

Real benefits of object oriented php code

There can be procedural and OOP PHP coding. OOP is the current standard and most people would recommend to use this. 1) I know that I put one class per file and I use namespaces. All classes go in one folder, lets say. Do I write all these classes up front or how does it work? I understand that this...

[procedural php] Including member system (social functionality) in the code

1) Lets say I have a domain[dot]com and I build on there. I have /admin and I created the video import and pic import for a video site. I dont have the understanding of how the member functionality be included within the code of the site (files with the code, lets say). I want my users to be able to...
