Re: I need help

And the version of PHP makes no difference.

:lightbulb:

Now I'm taking a punt here, but are you getting problems with MySQL statements in PHP?

Re: I need help

You've already done the sql (except for a using an apostrophe in a column name) :confused:

You can shorten it by using shorter names for the columns; what do you really want?

Re: Load a page relatively

You're about to venture down a rocky road, form handling and re-directing are quite difficult to get to grips with, especially for a beginner, and you won't get a simple answer on a forum except for tweaking your knowledge. I suggest you start here and work your way through ALL of it, try their meth...

Re: Load a page relatively

There is rarely a best since best is a relative term.

Explain what you mean by 'replace', it sounds like black hat nonsense.

PHP doesn't have a console log, it can output to a log or the screen in normal flow (where the HTML goes)

Re: Help me debug this radio button code

To be blunt, the problem is that you don't know enough about HTML, PHP or the code that you have copied and pasted. However, the 0="0" is and indication of what you have done wrong, browsers will ignore what they don't understand compare these two bits from the HTML that you posted '\'checked\'=>che...

Re: Help a newb with functions.

It's not outputting, it's assigning:

Code: Select all

$SingleFamilyHome_Display = number_format( $SingleFamilyHome, 2 );
Functions can return a value, number_format returns the value supplied once it's formatted it for you.

Re: Help me debug this radio button code

You've commented out one of your parameters. Don't assume that just because something is in a web tutorial, that it is correct; do your own tests to make sure that it's what you want and does what you want. I'm not saying it's wrong, just beware that it might not be what you think it is. Use [ code]...

Re: Help a newb with functions.

From what I see, you're doing alright. You haven't been asked to write a function and also you have echoed the result of a function rather than assign it to SingleFamilyHome_Display before displaying it. As you found out in your loops, when you output using echo, there is no carriage return or line ...

Re: Not able to upload image in DB using Php ajax

Correct this line:

Code: Select all

<input type='submit' class="btn btn-primary" id="btn_add" value='Save' name='but_upload'>
And if you are still struggling, try doing this in your function:

Code: Select all

function insertEmployee($params) {
print_r($_POST);

You have errors in your code, switch on display errors:

Code: Select all

(mail('test@yahoo.ro', $subject, $formcontent);

Re: Random class not found fatal errors

I understand your frustration, but I can only give general advice since your description is very general. While it may possible that you have found a bug in PHP 5.5, it is still unlikely from your description. The error is more likely in your scripts - the possibilities from there are that you have ...

Re: Random class not found fatal errors

More recent versions have tightened up and changed / deprecated some things. You may have been getting warnings before, but now you are getting fatal errors. As said, there have been a lot of changes. I still suggest you seriously look at upgrading to PHP 7 as you will be getting problems in the nea...

Re: Random class not found fatal errors

There have been quite a few changes; what you'll have to do is go through your scripts and check what has changed in the manual. Even better if you can, would be to upgrade to v7: php 5.5 is no longer supported, 5.6 support will end at the end of this year. It might mean a bit more work, but you cur...

Re: Random class not found fatal errors

You'll find errors in the php error log so long as error reporting is switched to do so. The error will give you line numbers etc. so that you can start to trace where the problem is. The version of PHP you are using might make a difference, are you using the same version on your server as you did o...

Re: Count through dimension 2 of an array (of arrays)

In answer to your question: Create a sub loop. It would be better to take advantage of the foreach loop: // Create a multidimensional test array $my_array = [ 1, 2, [ 10, 11, 12 ], 3 ]; // Iterate through the array foreach ($my_array as $ma) { // If the array contents are an array, loop through that...

Re: How to set font-size

What am I doing wrong?
Using inline style. It is considered bad practice and has been considered bad practice for many years.

Use a stylesheet and set classes if you really must keep changing font sizes in the same element type; which is quite unlikely.
