Re: $_GET[] after a #fragment ?

I've just tested this on one of my shared hosting account (Linux), and it works fine:

Code: Select all

<?php
$param = $_GET['t'];
echo "The parameter value is: " . $param;
?>
I'm running this PHP code as follows:

Code: Select all

http://mydomain.com/phpcode.php?t=test

Re: $_GET[] after a #fragment ?

In its simplest form, this is what you need:

Code: Select all

$q = $HTTP_GET_VARS['q'] ;

Re: PHP URL Encoding Question

Thanks, but I'm still not seeing an option to generate the format I need.

Re: regex problem

This should do it:

Code: Select all

^[a-zA-Z][a-zA-Z0-9_]*[a-zA-Z]$
Note that this requires your data field to be at least two characters long.

Re: it should be simple php-code

You are not specifying the send from email address, which is usually part of the email headers in the fourth parameter.

Re: Problem with dropdown value

You say you're using the post method, but your form actually specifies get, so that's probably your problem.

Re: Problem with UPDATE query

Your HTML form is using Post, but in your MySQL Update statement, you're using $_GET.

Should this use $_POST, like your Insert statement does?

PHP URL Encoding Question

I need to convert this:

Code: Select all

/page-name/?q=search+term
to this for use in an HTML form field:

Code: Select all

/page-name/?q=search&#043term
However, I can't find which PHP function does this particular conversion/encoding.

Any ideas?

Thanks!
