Im fairly sure it needs to be:
topico LIKE '%$query%' OR texto LIKE '%$query%'"

not

topico LIKE %$query% OR texto LIKE %$query%"

--Added the quotes around %query%

PHP refresh page

Hi, how can i refresh the page using PHP? Going to be like this:

if ($submit) {
mysql_query("UPDATE my_table SET all='$thecrap'") or die("Query sux");
----then the refresh code comes-----this way the form boxes will show the updated info, and not the old stuff-----
}

is whats happening is die() is making *any* further HTML stop. So if i closed my PHP...?> then i had some more HTML, it wont show up, because the die()
?><table><tr><td>This all goes away, because die()</td></tr></table>

Ok, i somewhat figured it out. die() works like exit()? It is stopping any further HTML.. Perhaps there is a different function i could use? Thanks.

Ok, i believe it is possible then. Perhaps this is a better explanation. I have the search all worked out. But if the user clicks the link, it will have to be a page manually made. I want it to be, so when a user clicks it, the item's ID is "saved" in a variable, and you are then moved to display.ph...

Basic SQL

I am using $SQL = "SELECT * FROM users WHERE id LIKE '$user_input' OR guildname LIKE '%$user_input'%"; but it wont search the guildname, only the ID, so if i type 4, the guild with 4 as an id will come up, but if i type The Awesome Guild, it wont come up... can someone please show me whats...
