Re: Empty $_POST on form submission?

UPDATE: I cannot for the life of me figure out why a 303 redirect works in Chrome only. I created a post, redirect, get function to handle form data to avoid duplicate submissions if the page is refreshed. header("HTTP/1.1 303 See Other"); header("Location: https://$_SERVER[HTTP_HOST]/test-form/");...

Re: Empty $_POST on form submission?

I've narrowed the problem down to my post redirect get method. I reproduced the problem I'm having with a much smaller function that should make it easier to figure out where I'm going wrong. function testForm(){ session_start(); error_reporting(E_ALL); ini_set('display_errors',1); if(count($_POST) ...

I created a simple birthday calculator that allows a user to submit their birthday, and then a bunch of facts relative to that date gets spit out. Everything works as intended in chrome, but not in firefox or safari. I'm not receiving any errors. The page gets redirected as it should when the form i...

Trouble with table elements

I'm not quite sure what I'm missing, but for some reason the last two close tags "</td>, </tr>" are not closing the second column and first row respectively. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Here's the PHP: echo ' <tr width="500"> <td width="200"> <img src="'.$item[2].'"/></td> <td width="300"...

Problem Querying Multiple Rows

All I'm trying to do is create an array with all the id's that have a value of 0 in the status column of the table.

Code: Select all

$query = mysql_query("SELECT `tempID` FROM `pending` WHERE `status` = 0");
$status = mysql_fetch_array($query);
This codes has only been returning a single row any ideas?

imagecreatefrompng - no inherit transparency

Problem: A PNG's transparency is not carried over to the resource when using imagecreatefrompng(). I've tried several suggested methods and different variations of alpha settings over the last couple hours, but so far nothing has worked. I'm currently using the following function to create watermar...

Watermarking - expecting resource error

So i've been bashing my head against the wall for hours trying to figure this out. Originally i started with a function, but ended up copying an altering my image resizing class to create a class for watermarking images. The Problem: I keep receiving the error "Warning: imagecopymerge() expects para...

PHP Redirect SEO Question

I'm working on a project that I would like to have bots crawl through the pages, but have humans redirected to another section of the site.

Do bots and spyders ignore redirect scripts, and will they continue crawling through the pages? Will a redirect script hurt my SEO?

Simple Text Counter - Randomly Resetting Issue

So i've been using this basic counter script on my site for a while now, and just when it started to break 25,000 i've noticed that it's been randomly resetting. I'm not sure if it has to do w/ an increase in traffic or what. But the value is stored in a text file and incremented. Any suggestions ar...

Re: Need Help Setting Up Dynamic URL's

Thanks for getting back to me. I'm able to display images from the database without a problem, but i'm trying to get the id in the url to correspond to the image being displayed. Need Help Setting Up Dynamic URL's

I've been working on this for the last few hours and haven't had much luck. Basically, every time you visit the index of my site a random image is shown. The images are stored in a directory, and i use a table to hold the id, name, and url of each image. When the index page is loaded a random int is...
