Re: Any thoughts?

Hi,

You can use the function getimagesize()

Code: Select all

<pre>
<?php
$img_info = getimagesize("my_image.jpg");

print_r($img_info);
?>
</pre>
this is cool....

Hi,

HTML and CSS and javascript will never be hidden.

PHP will always be hidden, if your server supports it.

Re: viarable + variable

Hi,

Code: Select all

$vars = array();
for($y=1; $y < $51; ++$y){
$vars[$y] = $y;
}

print_r($vars);

// now you have all the values in one variable

Re: viarable + variable

Hi,

You want to create variables dynamically ? do like this:

Code: Select all

$t1 = 'var';
for($y=1;$y<51+1; $y++){

	$t2 = $t1 . $y;

  $$t2 = $y;
}
But you can use arrays, it will be more easy to manage

Re: Stored procedures/logs

Oi,

You have to create a routine in Mysql and then call it with:

Code: Select all

mysql_query('CALL yourRoutine()');
You can just log the call to the routine to a text file.

Re: Help with a coding problem...

Hi,

You have to do that on the query, like:

SELECT t.*, COUNT(s.id) as subs_count
FROM table1 AS t
INNER JOIN submissions AS s ON t.id = s.tab1_id

You have to use this with the correct names...

Re: How can I creating pagenation

Hi,

why do you want pagination ? is a page with a big list ?

You have to count the items...
then choose how many items each page will have...
do a math to get the number os pages
then output the links for the page, with a parameter stating the number of page requested like:

biglist.php?page=2

Re: Like with php variable

you need to verify that before the query, like:

Code: Select all

<?php
if (strlen($name) > 0) {
// do the query...
} else {
echo "please enter something...";
}
?>
