RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^/([0-9]+)$
RewriteRule ^(.*) /listingview.php?listingID=%1 [L,R]

No..didn't work either way.
I can use this rewrite rule in a htaccess with other rewrite rules correct?

I mean there can be multiple directives within the htaccess file right?

I have read the Tut. mentioned and believe this should work:

RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^listing/([0-9]+) listing.php?newsID=$1 [L]


But It does not. Does anyone see something that may be wrong?

Thanks for getting back to me... I did take a look at those. Most of them look like they are for fetching email from a pop3. I did download squirellmail but it is too hard to install, it is beyond my capabilities, but I have heard of an easy to install and maintain program and can't recall the name....

Email Program for Visitors

Does anyone know of an Email program that is easy to install that would allow me to offer email service to my visitors. I need a system, not just an email fetcher. I checked out squirellmail but it is a little beyond my abiltiy to configure.
